Program Description

Career Online High School gives students the opportunity to earn an 18-credit AdvancED/SACS accredited high school diploma and credentialed career certificate. Students graduate with the tools to take the next step in their careers or career-education.

Graduation Requirements

Students must successfully complete a total of 18 units (either through COHS or through a combination of transferred credits from an accredited institution and COHS credits earned) in the following areas to receive a COHS AdvancED/SACS accredited high school diploma and career certificate:

  • English (4 credits)
  • Social Studies (4 credits)
  • Math (3 credits)
  • Science (3 credits)
  • Career Elective Courses (4 credits)

Students can transfer in as many as 14 credits from other accredited institutions and only need to take the courses that they are missing.

Students have 18 months to complete the program; however, many complete the program in 3 to 4 months, depending on how many courses they need.

Student Support

Our model offers the availability of extensive support with the flexibility of online delivery. Students have access to an Academic Coach, a Certified Instructor, 24/7 Technical Support, and for hybrid programs an Onsite Facilitator.
