ed2go and McDonald’s have 100 reasons to celebrate.  This spring, McDonald’s Archways to Opportunity program graduated its 100th graduate from Career Online High School.  Participation in Archways has more than doubled over the past year, making this milestone event even more exciting for the restaurant chain.

“Restaurant employees have told us they are looking for an opportunity to build new skills and receive an education. It’s wonderful to see Archways to Opportunity participation double over the course of a year as it illustrates that the program is making a difference for our people. This program is just one of the many ways we are committed to being America’s best first job for restaurant employees – we are not only a job, but a step in helping build careers” – Rob Lauber, Global Chief Learning Officer, McDonald’s.

Career Online High School has now made a difference in the lives of over 100 McDonald’s restaurant employees.  Check out the following video to learn how Archways to Opportunity and COHS has impacted McDonald’s manager, Yenis Blanco.

Yenis came to her local McDonald’s looking for a first job, but found so much more. In two years, she’s grown from crew member to manager, learned English as a second language through English Under the Arches and earned her diploma from the Career Online High School program offered through #ArchwaystoOpportunity. With her diploma in hand, Yenis is ready to begin her bright future!
